English Songs for Term 3 2009

Hi all,

It's been a busy holiday break with Karen & Miriam up in the Sunshine State and me stuck at home with a cold. Still, I was so blessed to have my husband on holidays from college and at home to help around, and I got lots of reading done! There sure are silver linings to every cloud -- (remind me of this next time I complain about something, okay!)

So, back to xiaopengyou this Tuesday, can't wait to see you all again!!

Karen's chosen some songs for the first part of Term 3. They are written below -- please practice with your little ones when you get the chance! Check my next post for where you can hear some of these songs and more online!

Anyway, here are the songs,
Bec xx

The Wheels On The Bus

The wheels on the bus go round and round
Round and round, round and round
The wheels on the bus go round and round
All through the town

The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep
Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep
All through the town

The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish
Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish
The wipers on the bus go swish. swish, swish
All through the town

The people on the bus go bumpity, bump
Bumpity, bump, bumpity, bump
The people on the bus go bumpity, bump
All through the town

(Can you think of some more verses? Get your kids involved, it could be fun!!)

Baa Baa Black Sheep

Baa, baa, black sheep
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir
Three bags full.

One for the master
One for the dame
One for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

Ring a Ring a Rosey

Ring a Ring a Rosey
A pocketful of posies
A tissue a tissue
We all fall down

Cows are in the meadow
Eating buttercups
A tissue a tissue
We all jump up
